Policies

The Record Connection allows the purchase of all it's products via the Internet except for consumer electronics. Consumer electronics are available for sale only to those customers who visit our store, located in Grass Valley, Ca.. All other merchandise listed can be purchased via the Internet, by filling out our on-line order form. The order processing is completely secure. For customers using Internet Explorer, a secure line can be verified by the presence of a closed lock at the bottom of your browser window, for those using Netscape Navigator a whole key appears at the bottom of the browser window. If you are not completely satisfied with the security of your Internet connection you can fill out the order form and leave critical information, such as credit card numbers blank. After submitting your order form, you can call Toll Free 1-888-355-1071 and give the credit card number to one of our sales associates. Your order will then be processed and shipped within a 24 hour period.

On-line Security

The Record Connection uses the latest technology to ensure that all transactions are encrypted and that all information is secure for our eyes only. You can be assured that your information will be used by the Record Connection alone and by no other outside agency or mail order service. Again, if you are concerned about security, your information can be faxed or phoned in through our Toll Free sales lines.

Credit Card Security

The Record Connection will only ship merchandise to the address which matches the billing address of the credit card used in the purchase of our products. This is to protect you, the credit card holder, from fraudulent use of your card by an outside party. This ensures that products purchased with your card will be shipped to you, the credit card holder.

Returns

The Record Connection will accept returns on product up until 14 days from date of purchase. Merchandise must have original packaging and be in resalable condition. Returnable CD and DVD product must be unopened unless product is defective out of the package. No returns will be accepted on Import CD product. A return authorization number must first be obtained by calling our toll free customer service line. A refund, exchange, or credit will be issued on returned items, minus shipping and handling. Defective products must be reported to the Record Connection when they are received. Upon contact with one of our customer service personnel, an authorization number and a return address will be issued for the return of the product. When the defective product is received, a new product will be shipped to you at no charge or a credit will be issued.
